Both Nala (Mama) and her unborn puppies were scheduled to be gassed in North Carolina on the day my girlfriend rescued them.
Nala is easily one of the sweetest, most friendly dogs we have ever had the privilege of loving. She has the markings of a shepherd and the personality of a Golden Retriever. Nala didn't know even the basics of being owned by a human, like "come." She is incredibly intelligent and sweet and has made remarkable progress. Most dogs are not this loving, even when raised in caring homes all their lives.
She is incredible! Her puppies will be as well. There are two males and seven females. Some look like black labs, while others have shepherd markings. They will all be perfect, medium sized dogs. Nala only weighs about 55 lbs.
All prospective owners must sign an adoption agreement and must be willing to agree to having the puppy as an inside dog. Only loving homes will be considered. Those looking for a watchdog need not apply. We want them all to be assured of a long, happy life with one owner. More pictures will follow.
